Why us?

  • We are a Community Interest Company - the ethos of a charity with the flexibility of a company.
  • We understand MNVPs - Our board includes two MNVP leads, an ICB Deputy Chair and a registered healthcare professional alongside parents and organisations representing minoritised groups. Just like MNVPs we are a partnership between service users, healthcare staff and commissioners.
  • We understand the MNVP guidance - our Executive Director was on the stakeholder steering group - and we have lived experience of leading MVPs and MNVPs at Trust and LMNS level.
  • We embed neonatal experience within our team. Voices Together hosts two local neonatal parent groups and their leads sit on our advisory group. Our Executive director formed & led the first fully integrated MNVP in the country.
  • We know that one size doesn't fit all. We can offer arms length hosting with local autonomy or full strategic leadership depending on the local situation and need.

  • Insurance: public liability, personal accident, employer liability, disputes & tribunals;
  • Employee management: DBS checks, payroll, holidays & pensions, employee health & safety;
  • Safeguarding: Designated Safeguarding Officer, policies and employee training;
  • Wellbeing: 24/7 professional mental health support line;
  • Training: Safeguarding, GDPR, engagement, co-production & more;
We can work with the ICB to arrange access for MNVP leads to other services provided in-house by the ICB or Trust, services can be procured or chosen directly by the MNVP or we can provide services directly to the MNVP.

  • Accountancy: invoicing, payroll & expense claims, end of year accounts & budget reporting;

FULLY HOSTED (all aspects of the MNVP guidance supported)

  • Strategic lead support: project management guidance, mentoring & coaching;
  • Volunteer management: DBS checks, expense reimbursement, training & policies;
  • IT hardware: procurement & maintenance;
  • IT Software: design, survey, meeting, mailing list & office software;
  • Website: hosting & design;
  • Admin: support for meetings & projects;
  • Comms: graphic design templates & calendar;
  • Health and Safety: risk assessments, policies, guidance & advice;
  • Data management: guidance & training to ensure compliance*

OPTIONAL & BESPOKE
  • Research: project-based support & standard survey options to tailor locally;
  • Mediation: certified mediator to support disputes;
  • Project management: for larger pieces of engagement at local & regional levels.

  • Voices Together CIC endeavour to work within the NHS MNVP Guidance and our work is directly informed by the guidance. 
  • MNVP Leads hosted by us become members of the CIC, giving them voting rights within the wider organisation as valued stakeholders.
  • MNVPs retain local autonomy, using their budget to fund services of their choice (e.g. survey software, comms and graphic design) or can choose to benefit from group discounts when using the CIC's providers.
  • MNVPs together with their commissioning ICB retain local autonomy on structure and running of their MNVP.
